NTUC Club actively encourages employees training, even if the courses are beyond their immediate job scopes.
It also has a no-bond-for-training policy which demonstrates its forward and enlightened stance.
HR Manager Katherine Chua says this has spurred her to contribute more to her organization. Currently
studying for an MBA, Katherine first signed up for the Graduate Diploma in Human Rresource Management to acquire relevant
HR know-how as she had no prior experience.
She adds that NTUC Club also encourages staff to recommend how processes can be redesigned to improve
workflow, and share newly acquired knowledge and skills with colleagues and friends to multiply the positive benefits of
training.
