Saraswathi was the only one of three siblings who completed secondary school. To share the family burden, she started work after her O levels. Her father passed away when she was 19 and her responsibilities became heavier.

Saraswathi pursued accounting courses while working at accounting firms for practical experience.

While maintaining a full time job and fulfilling her role as wife and mother, she completed the ACCA Vocational accounting course, attained an Honours degree in Accounting and managed to find time for her passion like sewing and vocal classes.

Saraswathi is currently working towards her goal to qualify as an accountant.
