Swissôtel Merchant Court strongly advocates the HR and training philosophy of “putting the accent on our people”, an approach that has won it several awards, including the People Developer Award.

The hotel has also been certified as an On-Job-Training Centre since 1999, organising an average of 12 courses per month. These courses are attended by employees of all levels, ranging from the front office to F&B.

Complementing these in-house training schemes, the hotel also helps employees develop their potential by sending them on courses such as the Workforce Skills Qualification programmes.
