The
much-anticipated music event in the Chinese pop scene, Singapore Hit
Awards, will be staged for the eleventh time this September.
With
artistes from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China and Malaysia vying for
top honours, audiences can expect special appearances from Faye Wong,
Jolin Tsai, Wang Lee Hom, Eason Chan, S.H.E, Fish Leong, F.I.R, Energy,
Machi, Mayday, Tanya Chua, YiDa, Anson Hu, Steve Chou, Flower, Jeff
Chang, Sky Wu, Li Wei Song and more at the awards extravaganza.
MediaCorp Radio’s Y.E.S. 93.3FM and the Recording Industry Association
of Singapore (RIAS) are proud to present Singapore Hit Awards 2004,
which will take place on 10 September 2004, at 7pm at Suntec Singapore
Halls 601 & 602. Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, Minister of State, Finance &
Transport will be the Guest of Honour for the evening.
Artistes will compete in a total of 21 categories, which include Best
Performing Regional singer and Best Vocalist award categories. Fans
may vote for their favourite music video in a special award category
– “Courts My Favourite MV” till this Sunday, 5 September
2004. They can do so with a minimum purchase of $10 at any Courts store.
