Presented by MediaCorp Radio's Y.E.S. 93.3FM and the Recording Industry of Singapore (RIAS) , Singapore Hit Awards 2004 was successfully staged for the 11th time last Friday, 10 September 2004 at Suntec Singapore Halls 601 & 602!

With artistes from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Malaysia  like Faye Wong,  Eason Chan, Lee Hom,  Jolin Tsai ,  Stefanie Sun, S.H.E, Fish Leong, F.I.R, Tanya Chua, YiDa, Energy, Anson Hu and  many more in attendance , the star-studded affair was attended by over 5000 fans and supporters. Special performances by Taiwanese hip-hop outfit Machi and China's hottest punk rock band, Flower also added extra sparkle to the night.

The night's top honours were won by Eason Chan and Faye Wong, who were crowned "Best Male Vocalist" and "Best Female Vocalist" respectively, while Lee Hom and Faye Wong won "Best Performing Regional Male Artiste" and "Best Performing Female Artiste" respectively. Popular Taiwanese girl-band S.H.E won three awards - "Artiste with Most Chart Hits", "Most Popular Group (Listeners' Choice - Gold)" and "Courts My Favourite MV".
