Anugerah Planet Muzik 2006 celebrates the best in the Malay Music Industry

Anugerah Planet Muzik 2006 (APM 2006) promises to be a star-studded night where the highest accolades will be given to the most talented music-makers of the Malay music industry! Organised by MediaCorp Radio’s Ria 89.7FM and Warna 94.2FM, APM 2006 will take place on Friday, 24 March 2006, 8.30pm at Max Pavilion, Singapore Expo.

APM 2006 will showcase an amazing repertoire of musical performances by the hottest stars in the Malay music industry. Fans can expect to see Malaysia’s pop icon Siti Nurhaliza, Malaysian Idol Jaclyn Victor, Malaysia’s Akademi Fantasia winner Mawi, “Master” of the Malaysian music industry M. Nasir, Indonesian’s influential rock group Gigi, Indonesian rising pop star Ello, and our very own local pop sensations Eka Mairina, Salma, Ahli Fiqir and many more. Watch them as they all get set to sizzle the stage with their electrifying performances.

For the first time, Fiza O from Ria 89.7FM and Nirina Zubir, talented host and actress from Indonesia and will join hands with Adi Rahman from Warna 94.2FM and popular Malaysian TV host, Aznil Nawawi to host this glittery gala event. ?

Following the high ratings of last year’s telecast, APM 2006 will again be broadcast “live”, and viewers from Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia will be able to catch the ‘live’ telecast on Friday, 24 March 2006 on MediaCorp TV12 Suria, ASTRO and ANTV respectively.
