Singapore Radio Awards 2006

Radio’s biggest night took place last Friday, 29 September 2006 at Shangri-La Hotel with a host of radio celebrities and professionals in attendance. Now into its third year, the Singapore Radio Awards, organized by MediaCorp Radio, was a stellar success showcasing both radio personalities and talents working behind the scenes.

A total of 34 awards were given out with Class 95Fm’s Flying Dutchman, Love 97.2FM’s Dongfang Billy, Warna 94.2FM’s Adi Rahman and Oli 96.8FM’s Mohd Rafi emerging as big winners for the evening. Our heartiest congratulations also go out to the following recipients:

The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to 55 year old Bala Supramaniam from Oli 96.8FM in celebration of his 27 years in the broadcast industry.
