Singapore Hit Awards 2007 presents 28 award categories this year, including five exciting new categories, namely Asia Media Award (亚洲传媒大奖), Most Acclaimed Artiste of the Year (年度人气大奖), Best Stage Performer (舞台魅力大奖), Most Versatile Artiste of the Year (年度全方位艺人奖), and Most Outstanding Local Music Achievement Award of the Year (年度本地杰出音乐人奖).
Organised by MediaCorp Radio’s Y.E.S. 93.3FM and co-organised by MediaCorp TV Channel U, the Singapore Hit Awards 2007 will be held on 27th October (Saturday), 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
In conjunction with the awards, Y.E.S. 93.3FM will be organising the Pick of The Pops Street Concert on 25th August (Saturday), 7pm at Times Square, Millenia Walk. Artistes appearing include Stephanie Sun (孙燕姿), Project Superstar 2’s Tan Diya (陈迪雅), SuperBand’s Mi Lu Bing (迷路兵), Ting Chu (庭竹), and FM Pop Music School’s Eric Ng (黄韵仁), Wu Jiahui (伍家辉), and Ngak Ng (黄星魁). The nominees list for local award categories will also be announced during the concert.
