Inspire 2008 – commemorating International Women’s Day

MediaCorp Radio’s Capital 95.8FM organized Inspire 2008, an annual convention aimed at encouraging women to empower themselves and improve their lives.

Inspire was first organized in 2005 to celebrate the success and achievements of women and their contributions to society. Every year, the convention invites speakers from all walks of life to share on their personal experiences and success stories.

Inspire 2008 was held on Saturday 15 March at DBS Auditorium. Besides local guest speakers, Inspire 2008 also featured personalities from Hong Kong, including well-known philanthropist Dr. Alice Chiu, actress-host Nancy Sit, and film director Clifton Ko. Topics covered ranged from health and wellness, to effective ways of managing stress and the role of women in modern society.

The speakers for Inspire 2008 were:
