Dear Listeners,
We are aware that some of our listeners may experience difficulty with our streaming services. This is largely due to excessive stream requests especially during peak periods, causing a bottleneck in our bandwidth which is rather costly to maintain without any funding support.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and will continue to improve our services to ensure that further problems do not ensue.
Meanwhile, we hope you continue to tune into our radio stations and will appreciate any further feedback you have concerning our service. Kindly note that the service is available for the convenience of our Local Singapore Listeners.
In addition, we would like to assure you that we always try our best to ensure that our listeners are able to access our Internet Radio services. However, there are other factors beyond our control. These include the ISP of your country, the type of Internet connection and network traffic congestion. There is also a finite number of listeners that any radio streaming services can accomodate at any one time which restricts simultaneous accessibility.
Please feel free to email us if you need further assistance. We will be glad to help you gain an enjoyable experience with MediaCorp Radio Live Radio via the Internet.
Thank you for your support for MediaCorp Radio.

1. While playing the webradio streaming, it keeps stopping and having long buffering halts, why?
Try following these steps to extend your buffering timing:
1. Open your Windows Media Player and click Tools -> Options -> Performance tab.
2. Under the Performance tab, there is "Network Buffering" section, click on the radio button of "buffer" and set it to 50 seconds. Keep increasing until a satisfactory result is obtained.
3. Click on the "Hear Us Live" link and wait for buffer to complete.

2. Why is there a delay/lag as compared to 'LIVE' FM frequency radio broadcast?
Before the actual streaming feed is being played, the player may need to take some time to buffer, it may take up to a few minutes, depending on your speed, bandwidth and buffer-timing.

Just for your information, MediaCorp Radio's Live Radio service has migrated from RealPlayer to Windows Media Player.
