Ibrahim Jamil joined Broadcasting Service with then known as the Radio and Television Singapore RTS on 18 Decemeber 1972.

With more than 34 years of experience in Broadcasting, Ibrahim Jamil had produced a varitey of Radio programmes which include programmes on Current Affairs, Religious, Sports and Youth Magazines, Radio Drama, Musical, Indoors and Outdoor Shows, sponsored programmes/capsules etc.

Apart from programmes production. Ibrahim Jamil is also one of WARNA's experienced Commentator/Roving Reporter. He had covered major international and local events such as the Asian Games in Bangkok and New Delhi, SEA Games in Vietnam, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, Malaysia Cup, riots in Jakarta in 1998 which led to the downfall of President Suharto, covering trade mission on overseas trip, Singapore General and President Elections, National Day Parades etc.
