Inon joined Malay Radio Service since September 1978, after having completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree from National University of Singapore. During her school years, Inon spent most of her time indulging in Malay debate and Writing competition. Her passion in Malay language and culture has a very strong impact on her writtings and her programmes.

Inon’s debut as broadcaster began with producing highlights issues affecting the world/local communities in several of her popular magazines/talk shows such as ‘Variasi Petang’ and ‘Apa Kata Anda?’.

Inon loves to travel and enjoyed visits to countries such as South Africa, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Europe, Middle East, and wants very much to go to Eastern Europe and Russia.This interest has put Inon to explore links between people and places. Inon also holds a certificate in advance family counseling from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2004.

Inon is not all work and no play. She loves to read, doing her morning walk every week ends and enjoy listening to evergreen songs!
