Zakiah Halim has been involved with the broadcasting industry for over 20 years. She has certainly come a long way and has grown with radio , from a producer-presenter to Programme Manager and today, she is the General Manager for Malay/Indian Programming and Corporate Promotions of Mediacorp Radio.

Not only is Zakiah Halim well known on radio, she has also hosted various TV programmes and major stage shows.Occasionally, you might catch her reading radio news on Warna 94.2FM. She's also a veteran at doing 'live' National Day commentaries on both radio and TV.. She also lent her voice in many radio and TV programmes, including current affairs, features, sports, lifestyle and entertainment , apart from radio and TV commercials.

Radio too has brought her to places like Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia ,Beijing, Thailand, Philipines, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Dallas, New York, Ireland, India and Cambodia for various exchange programmes and radio activities.
