  1. By submitting the Course Application Form, the Applicant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. All Course fees shall be paid upon submission of the Course Application Form. All payments shall be made to “Mediacorp Radio Singapore Private Limited”. The Course fee is inclusive of the prevailing Goods and Services Tax payable in respect of the Course fee.
  3. In these Terms and Conditions, the Course Title to be conducted on the Course Date as stated by the Applicant in the Course Application Form shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Selected Course”.
  4. Acceptance of payment of Course fee by Mediacorp Radio Singapore Private Limited” (“MCR”) shall not be deemed as acceptance by MCR of the Applicant’s application for the Selected Course, and shall not be deemed as confirmation that S A will proceed with the Selected Course. Places for each Selected Course are limited and are subject to availability. Allocation of places for each Selected Course will be on a first-come-first served basis. Provided Always, MCR hereby reserves the right not to proceed or to cancel any Selected Course if it deems that there is insufficient number of participants or for any other reason whatsoever.
  5. The Course fee shall only include course reference materials and shall not include anything else
  6. No withdrawal of any application shall be permitted, and no Course fee shall be refunded save as follows:
    (a) In the event an Applicant is not allocated a place in a Selected Course, or MCR does not proceed with or cancels the Selected Course for any reason whatsoever, MCR shall refund the Course fee to the Applicant; or
    (b) A written notice of withdrawal is submitted by the Applicant to MCR not less than 14 working days prior to the Course Date. In such an event, MCR shall refund the Applicant an amount equivalent to 50% of the Course fee received.
    All refunds shall be made by way of cheque payment issued to the name of the Applicant and sent to the Applicant’s address, both as stated in the Course Application Form.
  7. To the extent permitted by law, MCR shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Applicant or his/her personal representatives in respect of any loss, damage or injury to life or property howsoever occurring.
  8. The Applicant shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by MCR relating to the Selected Course and all matters related thereto.
  9. (a) The Applicant shall observe and abide by all rules and regulations imposed on visitors to Caldecott Broadcast Centre or any other venue where the Selected Course may be conducted.
    (b) The Applicant agrees to use MCR property and/or facilities only as permitted by MCR and with due care and consideration. The Applicant shall be responsible for any misuse of MCR property and/or facilities and for any loss or damage thereto.
  10. MCR reserves the right to deny entry to or to remove an Applicant with contagious disease from a Selected Course.
  11. MCR reserves the right to change the Course Date and to make changes to the curriculum of the Course from time to time.
  12. The Applicant hereby consents and agrees to MCR making audio and/or audio visual recordings and/or taking photographs of the Applicant in respect of his/her participation in the Selected Course and all related and ancillary activities, and further consents and agrees to MCR using such recordings and photographs for its publicity and promotional purposes.
  13. The Applicant hereby agrees and undertakes that he/she shall not, and shall not permit any other person to use or reproduce any content or material (whether in whole or in part) provided to the Applicant in respect of the Course without the prior written consent of MCR.
  14. The Applicant shall indemnify and keep MCR and its employees, officers and agents fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, claims and costs (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred in relation to the Applicant’s breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
  15. Applicants who are younger than 21 years old are required to obtain their parent’s / Guardian’s consent on the Course Application Form.
  16. For courses with certification, students must achieve a minimum class attendance of 75% in order to qualify for certification.

  18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
